Trinity Sales Group is saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Jason Burns, a cherished member of the Trinity Sales Group team and a respected representative throughout the lighting industry in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Jason dedicated more than 35 years to the lighting industry, building a career defined by hard work, honesty, relationships, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way.

He began his career with Juno Lighting, where he established the foundation for what would become a long and respected career in the industry. Jason later built his own lighting sales agency, JB Sales Corporation, before spending time with Hunzicker Brothers, and other well-respected agencies in the Oklahoma and Arkansas lighting market. He ultimately joined Trinity Sales Group, where he continued to serve customers and manufacturers throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Jason was, in many ways, a representative of a different era - what many in the industry would describe as truly old school. He believed in showing up, working hard, keeping his word, and building relationships that lasted. His handshake meant something, and his customers and manufacturers knew they could count on him.
“Jason was the kind of person who represented what is best about this industry,” said Johnny Cicack, Partner of Trinity Sales Group. “He believed in hard work, honesty, and taking care of people. He built relationships the right way, and his impact on the lighting community will be felt for many years to come. We are incredibly grateful that he was part of the Trinity family.”
Jason is survived by his wife, Leslie, his daughter, Alli, and brother, Andy, as well as many more family and friends. Leslie, Alli and Andy have also devoted many years to the lighting industry, making the Burns family a deeply established and respected part of the lighting community.
Trinity Sales Group extends its deepest condolences to Leslie, Alli, Andy and the entire Burns family. We also share our sympathies with the many customers, manufacturers, colleagues, and friends who knew Jason throughout his more than three decades in the industry.
